Waymigo is currently a travel discovery demo for adults. You can create a real account, but bookings, payments, messages, reviews, invitations, and vouchers are simulated. No travel reservation is created.
1. Using Waymigo
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Waymigo website and its current demo features, provided by Waymigo ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. These Terms describe the current demo; any future real booking or payment service will need additional terms and disclosures before it becomes available.
2. Age & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. Provide accurate account information and do not create an account for someone else without authorization.
Email/password and Google sign-in use Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for activity you authorize through your account. Use the password reset flow if needed and sign out on shared devices.
Your account may sync your name, languages, interests, privacy preferences, adult confirmation, and birth year. Demo bookings, messages, saved plans, and similar progress stay in the browser and do not sync across devices.
3. How the demo works
- Sample listings. Travelers, hosts, stays, activities, events, deals, prices, availability, reviews, badges, and meeting details are illustrative content. They are not offers of real inventory or evidence of a business partnership.
- No reservations or payments. “Join,” checkout, booking confirmations, cancellations, group price drops, taxes, and refunds are demonstrations. We do not charge you or collect payment details. A displayed confirmation does not reserve a room, ticket, place, or service.
- Simulated conversations. Chat replies and invitations are simulated. Messages are not sent to real travelers or hosts. In-app reports are real: signed-in submissions go to the Waymigo team’s private review queue. Do not use them to seek urgent help.
- Demo vouchers and reviews. Vouchers and codes have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed with real businesses. “Photo checked” and “Joined via Waymigo” labels demonstrate interface features and do not establish identity, attendance, or trustworthiness.
Keep your own copy of information you need. Local progress can be lost when browser storage is cleared or unavailable, and the demo is not intended as your only record of travel plans.
4. Respectful use
Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms and explain the standards for travelers, hosts, and conduct connected with Waymigo. Use Waymigo lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent your age, or use an account without permission.
- Submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, exploitative, fraudulent, or infringing content.
- Enter someone else’s private information without authorization or share sensitive information in demo forms.
- Introduce malware, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or attempt to access another account or private data.
- Copy or automatically extract content in a way that infringes rights, disrupts the service, or violates applicable law.
5. Content & ownership
You retain rights to original content you enter. You must have the rights needed to use it. For content you choose to sync to your account, you give Waymigo a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, and display it as needed to provide and secure the service. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising use or sale of your content.
Waymigo’s branding, interface, original artwork, and other service materials belong to Waymigo or their respective owners. You may use the service for personal travel exploration, but may not reuse protected materials outside permissions granted by their owners or applicable law. Third-party photos, fonts, and software remain subject to their own rights and licenses.
6. Third-party websites
Links to Booking.com and other external websites take you to services operated by others. A comparison link may open a neighborhood search rather than a specific listing. Their availability, content, prices, terms, and privacy practices are controlled by those services.
If you choose to make a real booking elsewhere, your agreement is with that provider under its terms. Check all details directly with it. A Waymigo demo confirmation does not carry over to another website.
7. Travel & safety
Waymigo’s current demo does not act as a travel agent, accommodation provider, tour operator, insurer, or identity verification service. Sample descriptions, badges, reviews, maps, and suggestions do not guarantee accuracy, suitability, accessibility, availability, or safety.
Before making real travel arrangements, verify details with the actual provider and check relevant entry requirements, local rules, health guidance, insurance, and cancellation terms. Use your judgment when meeting people and protect your personal information. For emergencies, use the appropriate local emergency service.
8. Availability & changes
We may improve, change, pause, or retire features, including demo data. The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network issues, or provider outages. We do not promise uninterrupted access or permanent retention of demo progress.
We may update these Terms and will change the date above. Material changes will be brought to your attention on the service, with additional notice or agreement where required by law. Changes will apply prospectively; you may stop using the service if you do not accept them.
9. Disclaimers & liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the demo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties about its accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by law, Waymigo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of demo data arising from use of the service. We are not responsible for travel purchased through independent providers, except where applicable law makes us responsible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using Waymigo at any time and sign out through the profile menu. Resetting demo progress or clearing site storage does not delete your Firebase account or synced profile. The app does not currently include a self-service account deletion control; email info@waymigo.app to request deletion and see the Privacy Policy for the available controls and information about your rights.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, legal obligations, or a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive the end of use, including ownership and lawful liability limits, continue to apply.
11. General terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class actions, and do not restrict any mandatory protections or court rights available where you live. Any dispute is subject to the applicable law and courts determined under the relevant legal rules.
